Step 1:
Create a new document but name it
what you want.
what ever size you want Avatar,Sig,Etc.

Step 2:
Make a backround colour
and make some text

(remeber you cant change the colour of it once you have done or the font,text even if you click
Colour Overlay it smudges it really bad.

Step 3:
Once you have done the backround colour and text
you need to go to 3d

then repousse then text layer

Then you have your text but if you wanna make
it better with clicking the text
copy my settings,
Drop Shadow,
