This is only attainable in the mission "The Alley" (The first mission)

Step 1. Play the mission normally and do as your instructed

Step 2. After you beat up the men in the alley follow the Don's enforcer out of the alley

Step 3. Just after you exit the alley, make a left turn and walk a short distance until you see another alley

Step 4. Walk down the alley, there should be a thug stood looking at you

Step 5. Walk over to him and attack him, he should then drop the pistol!!

- The pistol is a very good first weapon and helps out a lot for the first few missions
