This tutorial is a follow up for those who have successfully downloaded GBA4IOS (tutorials on how in miscellaneous).

Just as the real GBA system used cheat codes, the GBA4IOS app does too. There are three different types of cheat code available for use, meaning you need to make sure you know the code formats.

GameShark:

Format: XXXXXXXX YYYYYYYY

Action Replay:

Format: XXXXXXXX YYYYYYYY

Code Breaker:

Format: XXXXXXXX YYYY

How to Enter and Use:

For this example, I will be using GameShark codes, as they were the easiest to find for my example game (Pokemon Emerald).

Step 1: Once you have reached your game's loading screen, find the menu button in the bottom left.

Step 2: Once the menu is brought up, find the Cheat Codes tab.

Step 3: Click Edit in the top left and then the + button to add codes.

Step 4: Find the appropriate section for your codes (i.e GameShark tab in my case)

Images end here - however, back on the main Cheat Codes screen, you can toggle each cheat on and off by pressing on them (This may be necessary as some may not work in combination with others).

You will also need a Master Code cheat toggled on at all times for others to work.
