When you first begin the game and enter the selection menu. Go to options and on "Keyboard" in options select "Advanced". Than check "Enable developer console". To find the keybind to console, go back into options and "keyboard". Than scroll all the way down and find "Toggle Console". You may set the key to anything you wish.
