Everything in Warframe needs to be built in the Foundry. You build Weapons, Warframes and much more by using Blueprints, Resources, Credits and in some cases specific Components. Building can take really long to complete depending on the items. First, you'll need to find all the required items and second, once you're building the item, it can take minutes, hours or even days to complete. Weapons take 12-24 hours to complete, while Warframes will take 12 hours for each component and another 3 days to actually build the Warframe itself. You can rush an item that's being built, but this will cost you Platinum. Items keep building even when you exit the game.

It's advised to craft at least one weapon of each weapon type and a Sentinel for their respective trophies. This will get you up to 11 build items. For the remaining 9, build whatever you want to build. If you have nothing to build or don't want to build high cost items, go to the Market > Equipment > Gear and purchase the Cipher Blueprint. This is a unlimited use blueprint with which you can craft Cipher keys at a low cost. These only take a minute to build.

Blueprints
Blueprints will show you exactly what you'll need in order to craft the item. Blueprints can be bought in the Market, found as drops from Bosses, as rewards from specific missions or as a log-in reward. If you're just going after the trophies in Warframe, you'll want to focus on weapon blueprints that can be bought from the Market.
Resources
Pretty much everything you build- with a few exceptions- require resources. These are found in each level. If you look up a planet, it will show you exactly which resources can be found in the planet's levels. When defeating enemies or opening containers, a yellow and/or blue canister might drop which will hold these resources. Most resources you'll find are rated common or uncommon. Some of the rare resources that are required are usually found in quantities of 1. These are mostly found by defeating bosses.
Credits
Everything you build requires credits. Credits can be found in each level as loot and you'll always receive a payout at the end of a mission. You can also obtain high amounts of credits by completing Alert missions. These are special missions that pop up on your main screen occasionally that have increased payouts and sometimes even rare items as a reward. You can only complete alerts in levels you've unlocked, but you can hitch along if others invite you. There are also regular Invasions (Operations) which appear on your main screen that can payout huge amounts of credits.
Components (Don't worry too much about this, since this will only somewhat affect you if you're going to build Warframes and/or Special weapons).
Some blueprints will require special components. Warframe blueprints will always require 3 components: The Warframe Helmet, Systems and Chassis. These 3 components are obtained by finding and building the blueprints for them. Most of these are obtained through defeating bosses.

There are also some weapons that will require special components (e.g. Weapon Barrel, Handle, Blades). Some of these are found by defeating bosses, while most of them are related to Prime weapons (weapons that are better than their normal counterpart), which can only be found in special levels, the Void. You probably won't end up in these missions if you're just playing for the trophies though, so don't worry about it. You won't need them anyway.
