To Disable Media Server functionality on a PS3 system:
On the XMB, go to Settings icon(Settings) > [Network Settings] and press the X button iconbutton.
Select [Media Server Connection] and press the X button iconbutton.
Select "Disable" and press the X button iconbutton.
On the XMB, go to Settings icon(Settings) > [Network Settings] and press the X button iconbutton.
Select [Media Server Connection] and press the X button iconbutton.
Select "Disable" and press the X button iconbutton.
