Best Buy Closing UK Stores
Best Buy is set to close all eleven of its UK stores, after failing to make a profit in Britain since the first opening almost 18 months ago. The first Best Buy UK store opened in May 2010 in Thurrock, Essex, breaking its own sales record on the first day of opening. Minecraft sales at 4 million
The sales of the indie title that could, Minecraft, have now reached four million copies plus, the real time counter on the game’s official website shows. Creator Markus “Notch” Persson drew attention to the milestone via Twitter today: “4milyay”. Still in beta for now, the wild success is set to officially launch next week, on Friday, with MineCon in Las Vegas celebrating the fact.
