343 Industries has updated players on the situation with Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle matchmaking issues. Unfortunately, while they have restored BTB to 12v12 matches, they have yet to fully diagnose the issue and (with time off for the holidays) will now be unable to fix the problem until 2022 with a patch hopefully possible in January. Far Cry 6 players on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, or at least some of them, can now download a classic Far Cry game for free, courtesy of the Far Cry 6 Season Pass. The next multiplayer event for 343 Industries’ Halo Infinite is Winter Contingency and it starts on December 21st. Available until January 4th 2022, the event will dole out free rewards each day.
