E3 2016: Xbox One background music, Clubs and Arena

4.5
During Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Director of Programming Mike Ybarra announced a few new features for Xbox Live.

The first is clubs that will allow you to subscribe to environments to hang out with your friends. Then there is a “looking for group” feature, that lets you find other players to play with. last but not least, there is “Arena,” a new competitive platform based on Xbox Live.

That’s certainly a pretty nice addition to Xbox Live, enhancing its social features.

We already knew that background music and Cortana were coming this summer.

Wow it's about time they add some background music.

I'll be happy when they add background music, as I used to always have music playing on the 360 when playing single player games.

Going to be getting this :D Smaller is always better that's for sure and finally they've done what PS did with the Bluetooth headset options

This is probably one of the smallest things that should've never got left out. Always like to play music while I'm playing games.

I didn't hear any dates about the release of this but this is something I can't wait for. I always played COD with this and was sad when it wasn't on Xbox One.

I am excited for the background music feature as that will be greatly welcomed for when you are playing a not-so-serious game and just want to play casually. As for the clubs feature, I think it will be nice in terms of finding new like-minded people to communicate and play with online; it will make for a nice social feature.
