Halo 5: Guardians to Receive Infection Mode, First Trailer Released

You asked for it and 343 Industries is finally primed to delivered – Halo 5: Guardians will be receiving Infection Mode sometime in the future. This was revealed during a livestream event and a teaser trailer for the same was released.

Like Firefight, which will be returning this Summer with Warzone Firefight, Infection is one of the most popular game modes in Halo. It involves one player, the “zombie” trying to infect everyone else. The other players have to try and survive.

While we don’t know when Infection will be available, there will be more content coming to Halo 5: Guardians with Ghosts of Meridian. This free update adds two new maps, new REQs, armour sets, several fixes and improvements and much more. 343 Industries has also added some new community maps to the Big Team Battle and Grifball playlists which you can check out today.

Why does it not have this? It's been a trademark game mode in the last few Halo's. Still not a fan of where this series is going, lol.

I'm happy that Infection is finally going to be added to Halo 5. This is a game mode that I've wanted to play on Halo 5 since the game was released. I will definitely be playing it once it is released.

If this was a few years ago I would of been interested but now that no longer like halo I am not that interested in this.

Infected looks just as good as it did before, I enjoyed it the most in Reach, just make it as close as possible to that and I'll be good.

I like how they keep adding more free content but some of this should have been with the release. There weren't that may game types on release and still aren't that many

Surprised this isn't my hyped tbh. So many fun memories on halo 3 plus what people can do on forge now is just unspeakable what custom game infection will be like!
