Bungie Asks Why You Haven't Been Playing Destiny

4.6
Bungie is worried about the number of players not playing their game.

When Destiny strolled onto the scene in 2014, millions logged on to complete Raids, Strikes and fight other Guardians in the Crucible. Now, it’s less busy and the developer wants to know why.

Destiny players who haven’t logged into the game over the last month have received an email from Bungie asking them why they’ve been dormant and if they will be returning to the shooter in the future.

Those who did log into Destiny recently also received an email from the developer, asking them to rate their experience from 1 to 5 – 5 being ‘Very Fun’ and 1 being ‘Not so Fun.’

With the release of Tom Clancy’s The Division, many will be tempted to jump ship from the sci-fi and give Ubisoft’s upcoming role-playing title a swing.

Do you still play Destiny often? Let us know how much in the comments below.

I don't like the game at all bungie took a turn for the worst for this game in my opinion

The game was over hyped in my opinion.

I lost interest in the game after a few months.

I've never been a fan of the game. I played the beta and it just wasn't for me.

The game was just the SSDD. Once you had pretty much everything but the raid gear, there was nothing else to do. IB, SRL,etc are complete shit. Once they add something that is actually worth while only then just maybe some players will return.

It's honestly just boring, After completing the main storyline within an expansion there is no thrill. MMO style games should have actual lore behind all their characters as well that is actually shown IN-GAME. How am I supposed to care about characters If I don't even know their history, what made that character who they are, what makes them unique and etc. Not only that but destiny doesn't exactly have ever lasting interesting PvE content. I feel as if loot is much more worth it when it is actually earned.

Destiny's 'Legendary' gear certainly does not feel unique at all, it's pretty much thrown at us now and so is Exotics. Look at other games, people unite together on a weekly basis to run raids and 'EARN'(key point here) their gear by learning tactics and persevering through each boss until finally they get the loot they want. Not just, Shoot shoot blam blam oh look an exotic. Takes away the value of an exotic.

In my opinion anyway...

Should have stuck with halo, would have loved to have seen how halo turned out if bungie continued making it. I like 343 but its a new type of halo. Destiny just seemed like if I didnt play it for 3 weeks I was out of the loop, I didnt like how much they added to it I never knew what I could do and what i couldnt without buying dlc which seemed crucial

I stopped playing because i finished the campaign missions and got bored very quickly of playing online
