GTA 5 Voice Actor Teasing Story DLC

A lot of fans and players have lost hope that GTA 5 will ever be getting any single player story DLC, like the ‘Episodes’ that GTA 4 got, ever now. The game launched in 2013, two and a half years ago, and at this point, Rockstar seems to have lost all interest in supporting the game with post launch single player content, instead focusing their energies on the more lucrative Grand Theft Auto Online. In fact, they have made several statements that imply a lack of interest in pursuing story expansions for GTA 5.

But fans shouldn’t lose hope- story DLC for GTA 5 may be coming. Shawn Fonteno, who plays the maniacal Franklin in GTA 5, has recently posted a picture of himself on Instagram in a mo-cap suit at the Rockstar offices, and with a GTA 5 poster in the background, seemingly implying GTA 5 story DLC may finally be coming.

If this is true, then Rockstar will have found a way to keep Grand Theft Auto V fresh and relevant for the fourth year straight (they managed this in 2013, 2014, and 2015 with releases for PS3/Xbox 360, PS4/Xbox One, and PC respectively)- which is truly astounding.

If its something that the fans clearly want i don't see why they wouldn't make it considering that they would obviously make money from it.

I've had the game for a long time and have played Story Mode non stop, but I'm nowhere near the end lol. I'm not sure if story DLC is needed as it is huge enough already.

I hope that they actually end up adding a single player DLC because GTA Is getting a bit boring and repetitive at the minute.

The dlc isn't going to be free I think, eventjough they claimed ALL dlc would be free.

That would be awesome. I was hoping story DLC would hit at some point. I heard rumors that they may be adding Liberty City to GTA 5, so maybe that is why that poster is in the background, or it was a totally coincidence. Anyway, if Franklin is a part of it, I kind of want it.

SuperNerdgasm I don't like DLC. It rips the story or content away from the base of the game. Leaving us to pitch out more for what we should already get.


They game released over 2 years ago. It's safe to say at this point any content coming out is new and not cut content.

Didn't they come out at say that they had no intentions to do single player DLC? They said they only wanted to focus on GTA Online.
