Gears of War Series Among Most Played Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

During the livestreams for the Season 1 finals of the Gears of War ESL league The Coalition Studio Hear Rod Fergusson revealed that the older chapters of the series available on Xbox One via backward compatibility have been quite popular.

According to Fergusson, among the nine most popular backward compatible titles, four were Gears of War and its sequels, 2, 3 and Judgement.

Quite obviously, the Xbox community loves Gears of War, so this isn’t too surprising. Hopefully we’ll get more news on Gears of War 4 soon to quench that thirst.

These are better games. Just because they are bringing back classics doesn't mean they aren't still working on newer and better games.

Agreed. I would imagine if Cod 4 or Mw2 were on that list, they would have been the most popular to this date

If only they would bring back the servers for the older Gears. Player servers on Gears are the worst out of any multiplayer game

if the other crappy BC titles probably are not being played. GoW only needs 1 user playing it to make the most played.
