91% of UK Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 sales were on PS4/Xbox One

Activision can probably stop supporting the Xbox 360 and PS3 now.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the number one game in the UK, with 91 percent of boxed sales on the PS4 and Xbox One.

The game did release on Xbox 360 and PS3, although that version was developed by Beenox and by all accounts looked a bit ropey.

EA’s Need for Speed reboot entered the charts at number 3.

Last week’s number one, Halo 5: Guardians, dropped to number 4 while Mario Kart 7 sales were up almost 700 percent due to promotions.

Activision only supporting next gen consoles, oh wow.. no surprise there. I understand why they'd focus more on next gen consoles compared to old gen consoles but they should have put more effort into the PC version of Black Ops 3, the port was terrible.

codsture It goes to show PC users are not intrested in COD anymore

No one on PC purchases physical discs, they're obsolete.

Disc for the PC are not a thing anymore. We get games off steam and for mot of us that is about it. I do like DISC but I would like to keep it for consoles only. Maybe the UK has a ton of console fans over PC fans also. But I do agree I think PC users no longer care about cod.

This is actually based off of physical copy purchases, not downloaded copies.

There are still PC users that play COD, but pretty much everyone that uses PC has moved on to digital downloads, which was not included in these rankings.

the game that brought life back to call of duty, I honestly think it's the best one in the last 4 releases
