Street Fighter V's Second Global Beta Begins October 22nd

4.4
Capcom has announced that the second beta for Street Fighter V will take place from October 22nd until October 25th, and this time PC players will be able to get involved along with PS4 participants. However PC users will only gain access to the beta from Ocotber 24th. From that date and until the end of the beta Capcom will be opening up the cross platform multiplayer so PS4 players can compete against the PC group. With this there will be a cross platform leaderboard to show which players are the best regardless.

If you played the previous beta and had some strategies with the roster you’re going to have forget them, as this beta will have a new set of characters. Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika will start things off, with Rashid joining on October 23rd and Karin completing the roster on October 24th. Fight Money will also be present so you can unlock things in the beta including the Kanzuki Estate stage, but this Fight Money will not carry over to the final beta or to Street Fighter V’s full release.

If you had access to the first beta then you will automatically have access to this one. If you didn’t and would like to have a chance at doing so then you have to follow the instructions for your region. All PC players who would like entry must pre-order Street Fighter V through Steam. PS4 owners in North and Latin America have to pre-order the game through either participating retailers or the PlayStation Store, and this will guarantee access.

There seem to be quite a few different games of this genre, how different can they be?

Daniel- as i have said in a previous news article , mortal combat and tekken are enough for me

Street fighter is so much more difficult to play than both of those game combined.

i played SF back in the day on super nintendo, i think they took it too far with this game, making them all bulky, im more of a MK fan

My neighbor is a BIG fan of the street fighter series. I'm sure he will be partaking in the beta. Myself I am not to fond of fighting games. Cool game to check out though

Robbed The graphics don't seem great. These games always get boring very quickly.

Street Fighter was a game that wasn't really meant to have top notch quality graphics. I used to like them but they did get boring to me as I played more and more, and now I don't play them anymore.
