Black Ops 3 beats out Fallout 4 for most anticipated multi-platform game

The Nielsen insight group, better known for their TV ratings and viewership service, made their predictions for which games will be topping the charts this holiday using “overall anticipation levels”.

The data was collected by surveying over 4,800 gamers between August 24 and September 9 with ages ranging from 7 to 54.

Black Ops 3 is topping the multi-platform charts, just ahead of Fallout 4 and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

The Xbox One crowd are pretty psyched for Halo 5: Guardians, which has a 100% anticipation level, while the PS4 players are mustering up some enthusiasm for the Nathan Drake Collection with a 79% anticipation level.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is leading on the PS Vita, and Dragon BallZ: Extreme Butoden rounds out the handhelds on 3DS.

It’s worth noting that only the titles that scored 70% or over were included in the chart.

Are these figures in line with your own hype levels? Please express them in percentages in the comments section. For science.

I'm surprised that Battlefront wasn't higher, game looks amazing!

Black Ops 3 is from a more popular franchise than Fallout 4 so it has more people looking for to it compared to Fallout 4.

The fact that Fallout 4 is meant for mature players who like story, open world, total freedom, and it's still at a 95% makes me happy. COD is for kids, always has been always will be. COD is a game anyone can pick up and play, and although I'm excited for it, Fallout 4 looks head and shoulders (quality wise) above COD. If COD made the same advancement from each game as Fallout 3 to 4, I would be happy. But they wont, because they can't.

_Behr_ You Fallout fanboys are so blind. Fallout 4 will be just the same as Fallout 3 with a little bit of difference to it. You start off in a different vault and go outside the vault and see what's out there. Basically the same thing in Fallout 3 except you were finding your father.

Fallout is an open world RPG made by Bethesda. It will have hundreds of hours of gameplay with a whole new world to explore and interesting characters to meet. The leaving a vault part of your comment is correct for 2 of the previous 5 fallout games. Really leaving to vault is just a way to start the story but going going to "see what's out there" is truly gripping. The world out there is alive and active, and you have a role to play in it, but you choose what role you play. It is not a mindless grind trying to level up but something that happens as you develop your character and understand the world around you.

Call of duty has been the same game since the beginning of time when you actually start to break things down all games are the same at its core because that's what makes that game unique accept halo ever since 343i took over they just throw a random game out every few years that plays completely different from the past one

the only things that i will like about BO3 is the zombie mode and campaign. the Multiplayer is the same crap every year. As for Fallout, i have never played it but i love open world games so i will try this one out
