Fallout 4 on Xbox One Has a File Size Just Under 30GB

The Xbox store page for Fallout 4 has updated their listing, now giving a 28.12 GB file size for what will no doubt be one of fall’s biggest games. This is still much bigger than any previous Bethesda game on the HD consoles. Fallout 3 was 5.48 GB, Fallout: New Vegas was 4.75 GB, and their most recent game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was 3.68 GB on the Xbox 360.

These file sizes may not reflect patches released post-launch, as some day one patches have been known to enlarge the base file size significantly such as Batman: Arkham Knight‘s over 3 GB day one patch on PlayStation 4. Whether Fallout 4 will contain a day one patch remains to be seen.

This isn't big at all, in fact it's relatively small compared to all the AAA titles out so far.

That is really not that much compared to most Xbox one games.. Will be one of my smaller games tbh

Agreed but 30gb on a pc can be a lot to some people and the xbox just released terabite drives

Really? I actually thought it would be upwards of 40-50. Gta is 50 something. This seems like even more content. Oh wel still going to have high hopes and purchase
