Destiny: The Taken King Raid Won’t Be Available on Day One

The Taken King, the latest and largest expansion for Bungie’s Destiny is launching on September 15, 2015. The new expansion adds new weapons, story missions, increases the level cap and includes a new raid called ‘The King’s Fall’. It seems now however, that the newest raid will not be playable the same day the rest of the content is available.

Raids in Destiny are team-based missions that require a great deal of skill, planning and time. “The King’s Fall” is most likely a high-level mission and may have been delayed to give players more time to level up their characters. However, no reason is given for the delay and no estimate of the raid’s release has been offered, even if Bungie apparently already know when it will be released.

Destiny: The Taken King will be available on September 15, 2015.

Deranged Pay for DLC and don't get it for another month... (retards- that's okay we cant beat it on day one anyways) obviously not but this is destiny someone will be ranked up in a few days why should they have to wait a week to a month for something they paid for... Dumbasses are too **** complaciant these days allowing devs/company's to rip you off

You are an idiot lmao. They never said a month. It could be like when Vault of Glass was released like a couple weeks after the game launched. It's to build up hype. No one is ripping anyone off.

The delay helps though, it will pretty much be impossible to do it successfully on day one. Can't wait to continue to level up though and beat this in the future!
