Windows 10 global rollout is underway

4.7
Windows 10 is rolling out in each time zone as midnight of July 29 ticks over.

With the beta testing period over, Windows 10 is now becoming available as a free upgrade for anyone currently using Windows 7 or 8. Users can request the upgrade by clicking the Windows logo at the right of their taskbar. More information is available on Microsoft’s upgrade page.

Microsoft’s strategy is to get Windows 10 onto as many computers as it can, and to unite everyone with a single operating system.

For Xbox One users, the most significant change for Windows 10 may be the ability to stream Xbox One games to PC and Microsoft tablets. Microsoft is working on making the opposite possible, too. Beyond this, Windows 10 will also introduce Game DVR and cross-device play capabilities.

UZl Has anyone had any problems after installing?

Yeah, I did. My taskbar wouldn't work whatsoever.
Even though I would have to do a complete reinstall, im back on win7 now.

My Disc Drive wasn't showing up but after messing around with the registry I was able to get it to work. Only problem I have ran into thus far.

GT-R I definitely like it a lot better than windows 8. The start menu is awesome and everything seems to be running a lot smoother.

Yeah IMO it's way better than windows 7.

Nope. Only had problems on the beta (preview), but the full version works great.

Yes, when I close down my laptop it no longer goes to sleep, however a black screen still appears. I have to then shut it down holding in the power button and restart it to make it work again.
