Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Testers Forced To Reinstall Games

Microsoft is bringing in the backwards compatibility program an “upcoming change” that will force players currently testing it to uninstall and reinstall a range of games. We've not been said what's happening on Xbox One but curiously enough the titles involved are all Rare's.

In total the games involved in this upcoming change are just eight, and all will come to retail with the Rare Replay collection, out in August for Xbox One. The games are:

Viva Pinata
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Perfect Dark
Perfect Dark Zero
Kameo: Elements of Power
Jetpac Refuelled
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie

Backwards compatibility is now available only for Preview Program members, and will come to everyone else this fall. Microsoft has stated at E3 2015 that 100 games will be available at the launch of the program, and other 100 will arrive in time for the holidays.

xxRider702xx This list is trash. It really makes me think who request these games and who really plays them. :/

I doubt the games listed were made backwards compatible based on popularity but rather on the ease of renewing a contract with each game's company. I doubt we'll be able to play any famous games like CoD 4 or Halo: Reach until at least 2016. I hope Activision and Bungie don't take months negotiating with Microsoft for their backwards compatible games.

Reach is in the first set of games to come.

Would be dope, Let's hope they do sooner rather than later

Really really really hope they do this soon because I love these games so much......also mw2 would become as popular as it was when it firt came out which will be great and will just be like it was when I used to play it back then

RepPower Reinstalling isnt a big deal for what they are giving us.
Cant wait for this backward compability
