World of Tanks is coming to Xbox One on July 28

Aside from the graphical overhaul, there will be cross-platform multiplayer between Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well as shared content and progress across the two consoles for your Xbox Live account.

A new PvE mode will also be introduced called ‘Proving Grounds’.

If you’re a Gold member, you can download World of Tanks for free on Xbox One. If not, you can still have a crack at it without getting out your wallet with the seven-day trial.

World of Tanks will be available on Xbox One next week on July 28.

Its a pretty cool game, but it doesn't have the following on the Xbox like it does on the PC. It's nice to have the cross compatibility between consoles so it saves to your account, I wish all games did this because it sucks having two different games going on one profile like on GTA V.

GTXPlayer It's a shame that the Console has a better Dev team than the PC version, thus it is probably the only game with better graphics on Console than on PC. The PC version and devs are terrible to say the least.

After playing for almost 5 years, I can tell you that it's probably one of the worst developers out there. The game is also pegged with the most flaming community. Strangely enough, the console version is in every way, better. And the EU devs are amazing :)

While I do agree with the Xbox devs being better, (mainly because 99% of the PC updates come from Russia) the graphics and gameplay are far different and far better on the PC. Are you playing at max graphics settings? I don't understand how you can think the xbox graphics are better....

Yes, the Russian devs are n*bs, most definitely. Players being banned for suggesting appropriate ideas and staff members and support members abusing their rights. Along with one of the highest members spending all of the profit on Space Development instead of improving the game... anyway...

Not sure how you can say the Xbox One graphics are worse than the PC version because they most definitely aren't. The PC version is probably one of the most unoptimized games on PC and it still looks terrible. The fact that they use a 13-year old engine as their base for improving the game makes me laugh. Sad thing is, they think they can make progress. Which they can't. XB1 version is better in every way. Even just taking note that the console version uses a "Heavily modified" engine (Most of it reformed), that will tell you all you need to know. Then you can see the gameplay of the Beta online. In case of the x360 version, yes the PC version is superior, though I'd have to disagree about the XB1 version.

So from what you've said about it being poorly optimized, am I to understand you're trying to play it with an AMD CPU? Thats probably why it looks so bad for you. I run it with an i5 4690 and it looks beautiful for me at max settings with ~60 fps.

No, I have a Intel CPU, but it's that the game is purely unoptimized. It still doesn't have Multi-core support yet, that's the problem. The game still looks very bad on max settings even if you do put it on Max. Max, I get 40fps, but i'd rather not risk the extra frame loss which isn't worth the tradeoff. You can't seriously say that game's graphics is on par with anything modern. I mean cmon. It's using an engine that is more than 12 years old.
