Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta exclusive to PS4 for five days

PlayStation 4 owners will be playing the upcoming beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 a few days before anyone else.

When Activision announced the start date of the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta last week, it only revealed the August 19 date. At the time, it was not known how long the PlayStation 4 exclusivity period will last.

Part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s presence at Comic-Con last weekend, was an event called Zombies Escape Room Challenge. Anyone who attended said event, received a 30-day PlayStation Plus trial card. These cards had new details about the beta.

As you can see above, the beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 for five whole days. Starting August 19 and possibly opening to everyone else August 23. Treyarch hasn’t announced an end date, but the number of exclusive days seems to suggest a period longer than what you’d expect from AAA betas.

This beta, along with the 30-day DLC exclusivity period, are all part of the series switching homes, from Xbox to PlayStation.

Is the PS4 one lasting until the xbox one ends, or is it ending before? I have the beta for both consoles, and hopefully I can just play it on Ps4 all the way through.

If you switched to a ps4 from Xbox one or 360 just because of this congrats, Your an idiot for spending $400 on a game. Cod is shit and is failing. Compare cod to any old cod game, the old cod game is 100X better.

If it was a game like Blops 1 then I would, but nah, not this.
Doesn't look that bad though, compared to AW at least.
