PSN appears to be down again as users are reporting issues with PlayStation Network and its service on the PS3 and PS4.

The reports are emerging from Twitter, reddit and DownDetector. Even the official support page has listed PSN as having issues with Account Management and PlayStation Store.

Account Management

PlayStation®Store

Affected Platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4

Affected Services: You may be experiencing issues related to features on PlayStation®Store. We appreciate your patience while we address this.

This is the second time PSN has experienced issues this weekend. The last time this happened, it was apparently the work of a hacker group, although there is no info yet on the downtime cause this time around.

Update: As of 9:44 a.m. Pacific / 12:44 p.m. Eastern, Sony is reporting all services up and running. Previous problems with sign-in and account management have been rectified.
