Xbox One System Software Gets Third Preview Update in Three Days

The software team at Microsoft is working quite hard on the Xbox One system software, and today they released the third update in three days.

The previous two updates served to fix issues with multiplayer and parties that arose in previous versions, and now we get some small internal tweaks, that could finally lead to a public release:

Here are the patch notes directly from the private preview forums:

DETAILS

OS version released: xb_rel_1505.150507-2219
Available: 6:00PM PT 5/8 (2AM GMT 9/5)

FIXES

Small tweaks under the hood as we get closer to public release.
KNOWN ISSUES

Please report any issues you discover via the Report a problem feature or in the forums!
Hopefully this means that the public release is close, which is probable, unless more issues arise.

One thing is for sure: it’s definitely nice to see the quick pace at which the Xbox One team iterates the system software.

This is why I've been waiting and debating if i want to get one as i know there still relatively new and they have a lot of glitches and everything that mess stuff up, But i'm glad to see them working hard to get everything figured out and running smooth.

That's great! I am in the beta program, and the wireless display app that they gave us to test out messed up my entire home networking system. Its strange how that happened but I hope they fix it. It took me 3 days to realize that the wireless display app was the issue.

Its good that they are addressing issues or improving but hopefully they dont release this too soon so it wont end up with bugs in the future

It's kind of annoying to get this many updates but as long as it's for a good reason it doesnt bother me!
