Xbox Live Status Currently Down And Limited

4.5
Microsoft is reporting problems with its login servers across all Xbox devices.

Users are reporting issues signing in to the service, while browsing the online stores is also proving problematic for some.

According to Paradiger a new hacker group calling themselves “TeamBudyBear” have been claiming on their twitter account to have taken down Xbox Live.

They said:

“We’re doing these attacks to show everyone how bad big company’s care about security. We as teenagers know how to fix their servers. Pathetic.”

It looks like they’re taking down Xbox Live to prove a point. This is a similar reason as to why Lizard Squad did what they did last year.

I don't even care anymore I haven't renewed my xbl gold for 3 months now and I won't until they fix the problem maybe other people should do the same then they will be forced to secure their servers. But if people just keep paying them crying nothing will get resolved

_Behr_ They are the ones who are pathetic. Taking down Xbox live just to prove a point and they call Microsoft pathetic.

Yea, but as much as i dont agree with what this group is doing. They kinda do have a point. If a group of teenagers can take down or even partially take down a network that is owned by a multibillion dollar company, then somethings not right with that. Just saying

COYB I've been getting this sort of problems since day one.

What I don't understand is how many times does Microsoft have to go offline before they make there servers more secure?

you know what really grinds my gears? People that say microsoft needs to make their network more secure. First off, a DDoS has absolutely nothing to do with security. Its just overloading the network essentially. As for preventing this kind of thing. There is no way to 100% prevent it. The most you can do is 'soften' the effects of this type of attaco through different forms of mitigation. Ugg

Maybe it is time Microsoft do look into what they can to stop this though. Money grabbing bastards!

Thats definitely not Microsofts fault. You want to look into issues at your end...

Then it's your internet because Xbox rarely ever goes down.. the most they have is issues with SOME services not being stable for SOME people that have minor issues using something and even then the longest that goes on is half an hour and by then it had already worked itself out and they just improve the system by preventing the scenerio that caused it from happening again, but that rarely ever happens in the first place only a very few people have those issues and its usually their internet

Lol that's funny because Xbox Live is down every week mate
