You can begin preloading Grand Theft Auto V on April 7th

The hot news comes straight from Rockstar’s support site via their FAQ. “Yes, pre-loads via Rockstar Warehouse and Steam will be available on April 7th.” Rockstar confirmed. “We will update this page with an exact time as soon as that information is available.

"If you pre-ordered GTAV from a digital retailer other than Rockstar Warehouse or Steam, please contact your retailer’s customer support departments for details on pre-loads.”

Steam puts a 65GB minimum hard drive requirement on the game, so you might need to do some spring cleaning to accommodate all the high-res texture goodness.

That's just over half of my monthly allowance ffs, problems of living in rural Ireland huh. Along with that it would take at least a week to download, oh god.

65GB is alot depending on how much storage you have on your PC. Although it would be worth it due to graphics etc.

Pool Why so much memory GTA V on console was only 8GB

It's only 8gb needed when you have the disk, this is for the entire game digitally. I don't remember what it was exactly but it was a bit more if you downloaded it digitally on the consoles. The thing that stinks for me is that I live in an area where no one will be carrying a physical copy of the game. When I called GameStop, they said "we won't know until the day the game is scheduled to come out" *facepalm*

My internet couldn't handle 65gb.

Dont you still have to install when its on PC?
