Steam breaks concurrent users record yet again

Steam had a good weekend. The concurrent user record that was set only in January, which saw 8.4 million using the platform at the same time, has already been smashed. On Sunday afternoon, Steam peaked at a massive 9.06 million concurrent users.

The ten most popular games at the time is a list mostly filled with stalwarts like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but Colossal Order’s new city-builder, Cities: Skylines, also made it onto the list.

Here’s what most people have been playing:

Dota 2
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Team Fortress 2
Civilization V
Payday 2
Cities: Skylines
Garry’s Mod
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Football Manager 2015
Arma 3

Those 3 are updated almost monthly Dota 2 More than the others.

Civilization V - Very Fun, the new one sucked.
Payday 2 - New-Ish
Cities: Skylines - Brand New
Garrys Mod - A Classic
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Of course this is on this list because of Mods.
Football Manager 2015 - No Clue
Arma 3 - RPing is VERY popular.

I play console, does make me a peasant? i know pc is better but i prefer xbox. So this just proves how arrogant you are.


Basically what you said. The PC 'community' is just full of kids screaming " PC MASTER RACE HERP DERP DERRRRRRR " none stop as if anyone else other than other PC players care.

I'd rather be a 'console peasant' and play games than sit on PC begging console ports and waiting months for games.

I've been playing on a PC for several months now, and I've never had someone tell me they had sex with my mother.
