Rin Probably too late. Obviously gullible kids on Xbox who thought they were getting a freebie. Hope they stop this immediately.

I'm sure that they have placed this pretty high on their priority list, hopefully it all gets sorted in the near future though. I am quite surprised that something like this has occurred on xbox live

Tet Spam on Xbox? how is this news? :D

If you're on xbox one you would understand that the message spam is getting unreal with links to malware sites etc.

Aside from the excitement of you Quoting me,

I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't applied filters to messages so you can't post obvious malware.

Well it seems that someone is able to sign up accounts in bulk and just send out 1000s of messages with urls the urls seem to change each week.

I don't think MS can do much apart from add a capture to the website or add a slowdown to hacked Android apps

A person from a forum I will not mention is the one who created the program to do this. It basically finds a list of active gamertags, roughly around 250, and enables you to send out a custom message to all of the selected gamertags. Each account you make can send 250 messages out to 250 allowing you to send countless amounts of messages.
