GTA 5 Heists coming on 23 December: Holiday DLC leak

The internet is abuzz with news of GTA 5 Heists DLC release for 23 December, as renowned GTA 5 tipster, NillxModz, has recently tweeted that the highly-anticipated DLC will be available on Sony's PlayStation consoles (PS3 and PS4) starting 5am EST on 23 December, while its Xbox versions (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) would be available from 10:30am EST on the same day.

• 23rd December 2014 (PS3 and PS4) @ 05:00AM.

According to Latin Times, there is no clear reason why the PlayStation version of GTA 5 would be released ahead of its Xbox counterpart, although earlier speculation strongly suggested that both Heists and Holiday DLC are due for release in the same week of Christmas Day or on Tuesday, 23 December.

Furthermore, DomisLive's latest video (now unavailable due to unexpected channel termination on YouTube) suggests that the time gap could be due to the way Sony and Microsoft servers schedule the DLC updates.

Now the big news for the GTA 5 community comes in the form of two shocking account bans, wherein DomisLive's popular GTA 5 channel has been suspended indefinitely citing repeated or severe violations of YouTube's terms of service while renowned tipster NillxModz's PSN account has been banned from GTA Online by Rockstar for some reason.

THIS IS WRONG. Just so you all know. I received an email directly from Rockstar (you know their like fan email, news updates, etc).

"GTA Online Heists are coming early in 2015"

They have a trailer too.

AvengedCH I don't know if I read it wrong or if I am just ignorant to this, but since it is DLC will we have to pay for the Heists? If we do, I think it would be dumb.

DLC simply means Downloadable Content - not everything has a price.

Yes, it was definitely your ignorance there. Too many devs rely on DLC to make their game, I don't want a half complete game and then have to pay the same amount (or more) just to make it okay!

Online Heists is a feature that we were promised at launch! Now, one year and one updated version later and everyone's still wanting them. Wouldn't surprise me if we don't get them at all!
