Assassin's Creed Unity to get free DLC due to troubled launch

Due to the troubled launch of Assassin's Creed Unity, Ubisoft announced that they will be giving away the Dead Kings DLC to all players.

The Dead Kings DLC was originally to be included in the season pass. For those who bought the season pass, Ubisoft will be giving you one free game of your chose. Players who bought the Gold Edition of Assassin's Creed Unity will be able to choose a free game as well.

The games you can choose from are listed below.

The Crew
Far Cry 4
Watch Dogs
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Rayman Legends
Just Dance 2015

I can't say I have experienced many problems with Assassin's Creed: Unity, but Ubisoft is pretty amazing to do something like this. Just too bad I didn't get the season pass. Far Cry 4 basically for free would have been pretty awesome.

We cannot forgot that they released their game in that horrendous state though. I will think twice before buying another AC


Its still definitely a good idea and good thing to do by ubisoft.

This should definitely be the norm with all games. If there are major issues during the release, the company that manages the game should compensate its customers with some free DLC.

Well at least players are getting some sort of reimbursement due to the quality of the game at launch. I have heard from many people that the game was borderline unplayable especially on last generation consoles and the PC
