GTA 5 next-gen is not delayed, still coming fall 2014, says Rockstar

Following a rumour earlier this week that GTA 5 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC has been delayed to 2015. Rockstar has reiterated that the game’s fall 2014 release date has not been changed.


Despite having not announced a date beyond “fall 2014,” the developer was asked by a fan on the support page to comment on the rumour. Rockstar later replied saying that the announced release date has not been changed and referred him to the support article.

Do you think if it was due this year they would’ve announced a date by now?

Horizex December 31 2014 is the release date on amazon seems a bit to long of a wait for the little they had to do I mean the game has been in development for a while and released nearly a year ago for the previous gen consoles just making it a little more pretty shouldn't take over a year in itself


It has been in development for a while but they have more power to play with now, adding new physics, more vehicles, more pedestrians and animals etc

Dec 31, 2014, is the date game sellers put when they don't know the release date but know that is the year.

Got it already pre-ordered on both consoles...haven't really played the single player, always online.

It isn't all the same game. They've already stated there would be new cars, weapons, properties, and recently probably new radio stations/music. The graphics would be better, too. You could finally see your friend's tattoos, or t-shirt designs.
