Advanced Warfare Will Have Split-Screen and 10 or 15 Prestige Levels

4.4
Dropping more details on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer, Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey took to social media to answer a few incoming questions from curious Call of Duty fans.

The details are pretty straight forward. According to Condrey, Advanced Warfare will feature split-screen play, hardcore modes, and will include either either 10 or 15 Prestige levels — the design team is “still debating” between the two numbers.

The question still remains, however, if split-screen will remain limited to two players, as has been the case in the most recent Call of Duty titles, or if it will allow for four-players at once.

In addition, Condrey answered to one questioner that the team believes they’ve “got the right balance” when it come to time-to-kill and that “it seemed validated at Gamescom,” but the studio has “still got some dev time too,” should they feel the need to make alterations.

AudemarsPiguet They should have 10 prestiges to start with and then add the next 5

This idea is good, like Black Ops was. Have 10 out of the box, wait a few months, add 5 more, wait a few months, add 5 more. It stops people rushing to get to the highest level

4 player Split Screen in a Call of Duty just seems like a bad idea to me. I have a 40" TV and playing two person split screen is hard enough let alone 4, it will be near enough impossible to play and if they put it online like current split screen that is 4 out of 6 team members going to bad players who can't see anything on their four way divided screen, no thanks

Zips I hope it stays to 10 Prestige's, like it was originally. Much prefer 10.

I prefer to have 15-20 similar to Modern Warfare 3, the game gets boring pretty quickly with only 10 prestiges.

I've reset my stats on Modern Warfare 3 for the fourth time now, I've prestiged over 80 times on the game, and it's still as fun to me as when it came out on opening day. I love it.

Are you kidding??? Is you're time played like 5 months?

I don't know how you can still be playing that game that much now haha
how are you not bored of it

I think they should stick with just the 10 to be honest...

adding a prestige with each dlc like they did with extinction on ghosts I think is a great way to keep players engaged

10 prestiges would be enough, Although i can see why 15 could be implemented.

Dusknoir Doesn't every Call of Duty have Split Screen?

Yes, but not on multiplayer for online.
In Modern Warfare 2 you can not go online as split screeners
(As far as I am aware)
