Rockstar apologizes for Online Heists delay in GTA Online

The Online Heists feature was supposed to hit Grand Theft Auto Online in the spring, but it's nearly summer and no dice. Fans have been clamoring for the co-op mission madness of Online Heists, and Rockstar addressed those cries in a comment on the "I'm Not a Hipster" update post:

"We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated. We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support. Stay tuned for more information on that as well as lots of other ongoing content updates, enhancements and additions to the world of GTA Online that are on the way."

There's no word yet on when exactly the feature will be implemented, but it sounds like the team at Rockstar is making it one of their heist priorities.

I really want the Online Heists to be released already, it is the thing I'm most important about. I would prefer updates like the "I'm Not a Hipster" didn't come out if it meant Heists would be released quicker.

I've been waiting for the heist update forever! Going to take forever to come out because they think the other updates are more important!

Its almost been a year since they started talking about GTA Online Heists. With numerous let downs of multiple delays. Its really sad that as many people work for Rockstar they cant simply release this update but instead they release pointless updates that arent really needed. Heists should of been there top priority from the start instead of the other updates.

I have to get this game back, I miss it so much.
