Microsoft’s DLC exclusivity deal extends to CoD: Advanced Warfare

The exclusivity deal that sees all the DLC content for the Call of Duty games appear first on Xbox platforms will cover Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as well, Microsoft has announced. The firm posted an update on Xbox Wire regarding the game and confirmed the news. The exclusivity deal -for those who don’t know-, means that all future DLC add-ons for Advanced Warfare will be deployed first on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, a month before coming to other platforms.

It is because Microsoft pays the makers of Call of Duty to get the DLC to xbox before any other platforms. It is pretty much is a ploy to get COD fans to come to xbox if they don't want to wait a month for the DLC.

You're both ignorant. This is what the Xbox Live Gold subsciption pays for, perks like this. And @SDE005, Cod is the lifeline of console gaming. There isn't one game that sells more on consoles than on PC, besides COD.

Cod is the very definition of what game developers shouldn't do. What Cod does is simply make the same game every year with a different title. It's always the same crappy game they release.

Kids didn't ruin WWE, the death of Chris Benoit and Linda McMahon running for senator in the later months of 2007 is why WWE went PG but other than that, I completely agree.

This is one of the reasons that Xbox is my favorite console. I will most likely be getting the season pass for CoD: Advanced Warfare so it will be nice being able to get the DLC before my friends on Playstation.
