Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare due for reveal May 4th

It has come to light that Activision is going to reveal their 2014 Call of Duty courtesy of Sledgehammer Games this Sunday, May 4th, at 5am Eastern via the series official website. This tidbit of news was derived from a counter that appeared on the aformentioned website touting the tagline "get ready for a new era of Call of Duty". No further details regarding the game have been released yet but we'll keep you in the loop!

Oasis Be still my beating heart! Another 'blockbuster' cod. Decent looking trailers/gameplay even a freaking good beta are the only things I care about, if none of them excite me, I'll defiantly just save my money.


A COD beta? Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

Call of duty needs to die off already. It stopped being fun for me after MW2, BO2 was a small exception. Hopefully this is the last. Ghost, MW3, and BO made me regret spending the money.

-Mashiro Honestly, anything is better than Ghosts. I'll be trying it out this year, only because it's a new company making it. I'm done playing the "new" Infinity Ward's games (old IF that did MW and MW2 is long gone) and Treyarch is meh, depends on how good zombies looks. From the little I've seen of Sledgehammers "idea" for the new COD looks promising, but then again, they assisted IF with MW3, and tbh I wasn't that impressed with it. Only time will tell I guess.


Everybody says "Ooh new CoD, and theres this thought that its going to better!" I honestly will be interested, but if its basically like all the other CoD's I wont buy it. Now I hope they are working on a more ArmaIII like game a CoD, but sandbox open kinda game idk; only time will tell!


Stop trying to change the game.. thats what ruined it in the first place I said this a million times a game cant just change like a baseball game adding soccer elements there both sports games but it makes no sense


I will sooo agree on you with this, they try and add things but it just makes the game a lot worst. Spawn-trapping drew a lot of attention first off now it died done a lot. There is a lot more things that CoD had good but they removed or nerfed. The only good thing CoD has now is camo packs.

Hopefully it will have some game changing mechanics, since Sledgehammer is making it.
