Call of Duty 2014′s in-game character visual shown at GDC

Call of Duty 2014 is coming this fall, and a visual of an in-game character model was shown off by Sledgehammer Games at GDC last month.

The image, which was posted by IGN, shows how “actual in-game characters,” will look.

While it’s just a man’s face, it shows how next-gen the firm intends the game to look.

It revealed earlier this year the firm was taking a ‘next-gen first’ approach to development and insiders said the visuals represented a massive jump over Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Formats for the game have yet to be announced, but it’s assumed by many to be PC, PS4 and Xbox One only, yet other rumblings state it’s cross-generation. We’ll know more once Activision announces something.

I'm glad its CoD season again. Can't wait for the new CoD.


Same here. Not only is it a new developing chance for Sledgehammer, but we can also expect new things haha.

Eh Ghosts isn't doing so well, Black Ops 2 has more people playing it.

Nope, Strikers actually correct in some cases. About once or twice a month, Blops 2 has more players than Ghosts. This is due to Ghosts being considered trash even by most serious competitors and Blops 2 holding a nice support with MLG and new content still being released.


COD is dying i know multiple people (me being one of them) who are only buying treyarch's call of duty maybe sledgehammer's if it gets good reviews after coming out
P.S i used to pre-order every call of duty.

They rush their games by releasing one every **** year.


They actually don't rush these games. They have a 2 year dev cycle. They now have a 3 year dev cycle.
