Titanfall averages 46.5 frames-per-second on Xbox 360

4.5
The recently released Xbox 360 version of Respawn Entertainment's mech-dropping first-person shooter Titanfall maintains an average unlocked framerate of 46.5 frames-per-second, gaming performance analysis site Digital Foundry reports.

Digital Foundry finds that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall runs at a 1040x600 native resolution, compared to the Xbox One's 1408x792 resolution. The Xbox 360 version boasts an unlocked framerate of up to 60 frames-per-second, along with an option to lock the framerate at 30 FPS to eliminate screen tearing and input lag.

Presentation-wise, Digital Foundry notes that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall has "a necessary reduction in texture detail compared to the other versions, but nothing that overtly compromises the look of the game."

The testing results are consistent with pre-release claims from porting studio Bluepoint Games, which promised a framerate above 30 frames-per-second in the final Xbox 360 version of Titanfall.

You can definitely tell the difference between xbox one gameplay and the xbox 360 gameplay, but i would for sure pick up this game for 360 if i didn't have my xbox one.

Game is awesome on the 360 and people should stop comparing, do NOT wait until you get an Xbox One buy it for the Xbox 360 there is really not that much difference unless you are REALLY fussy about things. If the Xbox One had not been made you guys would be drooling over this game.

OBE All good reports coming from this game, but I'm not sure if i should wait until I get an Xbox One for this game. Decisions...

From someone who has both versions, the 360 version of the game isn't bad at all. Of course the graphics and frames are better on the X1, but I honestly can barely tell the difference.

If you have a group of friends on the 360 who will play with you (it's a lot more fun with friends) then get it. It's definitely worth the 60$.

Just remember that your stats won't transfer. I would wait IMO because it's awesome on the x1

Do stats transfer from 360 to the One?

I was planning on getting a Xbox One in the future.

No it does not at the moment

Glad I've already got it on the one but if I had to make do with the 360 version I wouldn't be too sad after reading all these specs and seeing a few vids.

46.5 fps isn't really bad for the Xbox 360. While the texture detail may be reduced i was honestly expecting it to be a little lower
