Microsoft crediting players for March Xbox Live outage

Microsoft is issuing a free week of Xbox Live Gold for Xbox One owners who were unable to log into the service for a brief period of time last month, IGN reports.

The offer arrives in response to a service interruption on March 11, which emerged in the wake of Titanfall's release. The outage affected player matchmaking in Forza Motorsport 5 and Titanfall, and was resolved later in the evening.

Microsoft is currently informing affected users of the offer via Xbox Live's messaging service. Xbox Live Gold compensatory credit will be issued "soon."

Ever since the release of titan fall I was't able to access the store or my pins. It just said that there is something wrong with the connection and it said that for a little over a week. Not sure if this is the problem there talking about

I think Microsoft is starting to care more about its customers. Although I feel like it's only because Sony actually has a fighting chance with the new generation consoles. The 360 was far more favored than the ps3. Sad that they only start to care when they have to...
