White developer Xbox One Day One console currently on eBay

4
One of the rare white Xbox One Day One consoles that was made just for the console's development team at Microsoft is now on eBay, where it is currently on sale for the "Buy it now" price of $2,699.95.

The listing has a number of images of the console, which shows the “I Made This, Launch Team 2013" inscription on its white surface. It also contains a white Xbox One Day One controller with the same label and the seller is also throwing in a regular black gamepad as well.

The eBay listing says that the Xbox One Day One launch team console is technically "new", but it does add that the seller has removed the console from its package and plugged it in to make sure it was working. In addition to its "Buy it now" price, the seller is also considering any "best offers" from buyers. As of this writing, the eBay listing still has over two days to go before it expires.

Only two of the white Xbox One Launch Team consoles have been offered to the general public for purchase. Both were sold on eBay via auctions in 2013 and in each case, the money from the sales went to charity. One raised £5,000 for the UK-based Gamesaid, while the other brought in $11,300 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

I Would stay with black one instead of white

Guy probably needs money fast. Don't see why else he would put a "Buy it now" price unless he needs the money

The only reason why someone would buy this is only if they were a Microsoft collector. Otherwise there would virtually be no bids on it.

Why on earth would you put a buy out on it? You could get way more than the asking price.

Is it bad that I am thinking about getting this? I found one on Ebay for a lot less however. It costs $1,800 and has four unopened games; three of which are day one edition.

Or, as an alternative, you could spray paint it for less than 10
