GameStop hikes price on PS4 Camera amid supposed 'high demand'

GameStop, US game retailer, has recently added a $10 markup to its remaining supply of PlayStation 4 Camera as supposed demand outgrows supply. The product normally retails for $59.99 and has been honored by most outlets since the console's launch but it seems GameStop had different ideas when they listed the product for $69.99. Sony has avoided commenting with exact sales figures or even opening up to offer an explanation for the obvious supply shortage of PS4 Cameras.

While we do not comment on the sales figures, shipment or monthly production quantity, PlayStation Camera remains in high demand.Sony

Potion Gamestop is a horrible money grubbing company, if i was going to buy i would buy it from amazon and just boycott game stop.


yea gamestop is terrible i tried selling my new games there and they offered me $10-$20 -_-.

A lot of people bought it due to Microsoft's DRM fiasco. It's also the stronger console, and it's cheaper.

The point isn't simply that the price has been pushed up, the point is why. Sony have been shady about sales figures, which tends to mean things aren't as good as they'd want you to believe.
