Titanfall Prestige-like mode titled "Generations" - RUMOR

4.3
In just one week, Titanfall has went from a long shot and wildly untested project to a extremely hyped and coveted upcoming game this year due mainly to the recent betas enacted on the Xbox One and PC.

Due to more data mining on the PC beta client from more mischievous gamers it is currently believed that Titanfall will feature a prestige-like mode titled "Generations." According to the data miner the lore behind such a mode is as follows: Your pilot's gear becomes increasingly rusty during your exploits. By the time you reach level 50 you can regenerate into a new body that is "better, sharper, acquiring experience even faster than before" for the low price of your MP progress(unlocks, challenges, and rank) thus far.

How do you feel about Titanfall having a prestige-like mode, is it the developer cheaply copying a over used CoD mechanic or tactical use of something gamers truly enjoy?

There are supposedly ten tiers of progression within "Generations", the emblems for each tier can be seen below.

Titanfall sucks from what I played of it... Titans are overpowered af. I doubt I'll be buying this. Generations? They look horrible btw

Generations sounds absolutely awesome and the concept of the rusting is sweet as well. Personally I don't think it's a rip from CoD at all, having one series of ranks would be boring, plus this ads a reason as to why you should move on in generation.

I'm fine with there being prestiges/generations. I'm really excited for this game.

Third_Eye G1-10 is more newb friendly because it means no more memorizing prestige symbols.

I guess but usually prestige's are fairly easy to remember even if you are a noob, the whole g1-10 is based off of military I believe

I also like the prestige mode in CoD, so i'm glad they have introduced it. When you get to the highest level there is nothing to do, prestige's add fun in to the game.

I've seen game play, and it looks really good. I haven't played it yet but from the game play it looks better than cod in my opinion.
