Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas out now on iOS

4.8
Rockstar Games' iOS port of GTA: San Andreas has launched on iTunes.

The iOS version of the game features improved graphics and draw distance, plus three different control schemes including support for made-for-iOS controllers on iOS 7. You can even create your own custom playlist on your iDevice and load it into GTA: San Andreas's "Mixtape" radio station.

Rockstar is currently working on versions for Windows Phone (coming next week), Android and Kindle Fire. The iOS app, which runs on iPad 2, iPhone 4S and above, is priced at $7.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas best GTA ever made! I'm downloading it.

I was scrolling down the app store, and saw this. And, I really wanted to buy it, but didn't have the money. It's just $7, but that's a lot for something on the app store!

Kinda interested in buying this, never played GTA much, never on mobile either.

I really enjoy these games on the iOS device for when I am standing in line. The only thing that I have to say negative about these GTA mobile games is they don't have cheats which is one of the favorite part of the games for me and they only had them in GTA: Chinatown but that was third person and not like these games.

Katsumi Well this is honestly something that i didn't see coming. While i haven't played it yet i wonder how it will run on current devices

I have the iphone 5 and I have been playing it a lot today, it looks amazing and runs very smooth with no lag.

That's actually kind of surprising. I expected it to have a little lag at the least, i'll give it a download myself in that case
