Free Forza 5 added to Xbox One pre-order deal

4.4
Microsoft has added Forza Motorsport 5 to its Xbox One 'Day One Edition' pre-order promotion in Europe.

UK retailers GAME, Amazon.co.uk and ShopTo are offering the deal, which rewards Xbox One pre-orders with either a free digital copy of Forza 5 or the previously announced FIFA 14.

In August Microsoft announced that free digital copies of FIFA 14 would be included in "the first" of the Day One bundles, suggesting that another title would later be offered. That title now appears to be Turn 10's racer.

Microsoft confirmed today that a new "limited" supply of 'Day One Edition' consoles has been made available for pre-order.

However, at least one UK retailer - Amazon - reports that it's sold out of FIFA 14 versions of the Day One bundle.

The Xbox One release date has been confirmed as November 22 in 13 markets, including North America, UK and Australia.

The Xbox One price has been set at £430 / €500 / $500.

Microsoft has confirmed an Xbox One launch games line-up of more than 20 titles, including Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5 and Killer Instinct.

Kurumu I have this pre ordered and I cannot wait I want to play it NOW! cannot wait 2 more months.

Well i guess we will just have to wait patiently until it's released, nothing we can really do about it

XxBig_D_FreshxX Ok, I have a whole lot of complaints about this, but I'll sum it up into a few sentences:

Ok, sure, the UK version may cost more than the US version of the console, but that doesn't mean to include a "free" product that everyone in the US has to pay for. Microsoft's really just trying to make up for the fact that they're already beat outside of the US to Sony, in my opinion. So, they started the price so high for profit. Let's think about it. The "free" games they're including are virtually free for them to include too! I just don't see why Microsoft would undercut people in the US due to the fact that they're losing. I think it's BS.

Dude you're getting it cheaper than the rest of us in the first place, I can understand why you're mad, but come on it's only fair we get something in return for the high price. I think your just a little jealous....

It isn't free for them to include, Microsoft had to sign a deal with EA that cost a lot of money...

Hence why I said "virtually". I know it's not really free. Meaning, they have a lot of money & this wasn't a blow to them financially by any means.

_Bale Another brilliant deal, but not as good as the FIFA 14 one IMO.

Better than Fifa. Every year fifa looks exactly the same, I can go back to ps1 and it will be the same. Forza Motorsport on the otherhad is always different and better and better everytime.

This, besides Forza 5 is a next-gen game that is using all the power of the One including the cloud, I wouldn't class FIFA 14 as a real next-gen game.

This would make sense, seeing the Xbox One in the EU is more than Xbox One in the U.S.

TTGxExecutive So the game that comes with the console depends on where you live?

Have you seen how much UK have to pay for the console? It's a fair deal and a good bundle. For our price in the UK, you in America could get the console and buy the game and still have money left over...
