Halo 4: New armor mods, playlists coming August 19

343 Industries will release a Title Update for Halo 4 on Monday, August 19, that will introduce new armor mods and playlists to the game for free.

Two new armor mods will let all players equip new support upgrades. These include 'Recharge', which decreases the time it takes for your shields to recharge, and 'Survivor', which ejects you out of a vehicle if it's about to explode.

Some playlist changes "based on community feedback" will also be introduced, as 343i explains, "Rumble Pit will have a total of 15 new voting options including new Slayer game types, new objective game types (King of the Hill and Oddball) and Regicide, which is being consolidated and will now exclusively be available in the Rumble Pit playlist.

Below are some Slayer and objective game types from the Halo 4 Global Championship playlist that will be introduced to the Rumble Pit lists:

Haven Oddball
Skyline Rumble BRs
Simplex Rumble BRs
Abandon King of the Hill
Landfall King of the Hill
This comes just one day ahead of the release of the Halo 4 Champions Bundle DLC.

Deranged This game is already dead... Halo is successfully destroyed all i look forward to now is a blockbuster movie with good actors on it now


The reason why halo is dead is because all the little cod fanboys wont give it a chance, and not alot of people are good a halo so they get p*ssy at it and turn it off after a game... me i love halo, and i think it don't deserve to be dead


Lol, I have no idea what "CoD Fanboys" have to do with anything involving Halo. Halo is ruined because of all these ridiculous new things they're doing/adding to it.

I'm pretty sure there's already an a support upgrade with the same effect as 'recharge' already in the game.

Im liking that survivor armor mod. It seems really useful, but also not really because of what if a rocket just comes flying at your warthog or something.
