Minecraft Xbox 360 First Texturepack Released Image

4.4
With Minecraft Xbox 360 hitting 5 million sales and being number one in the UK gaming chart for a second week running, 4j Studios couldn't help but share the new texturepack layout which is coming in title update 12. It's been confirmed they've completed the update and it will be sent to cert testing this week which will take around 7 to 10 working days to complete.

The image that they've shown is the award from microsoft alongside some minecraft figures. The image on screen shows the new interface layout of how texturepacks and mash-up packs will be displayed to gamers. It's still unconfirmed on a price but a trial will be available with unlimited time usage.

Wzd The updates take to long, if they were a bit quicker then people wouldn't be getting bored with the game.

But then again you dont even know how difficult it is to remap every texture easily in a game

Its because of MS cert testing

ItzLogik Will you have to pay for the TPs?

Yes you are going to have to pay. That's why the PC version is still better and many other reasons.

Blame that on the the 360 and MS's QA Process. It takes a lot of time of transferring a Java game into a game the Xbox 360's limited PowerPC architecture can read/play. Also, MS's QA Process for updates is quite long but they have been working on condensing the time.
