Update: Xbox Live issues, Microsoft Investigating

Some folks are reporting that Xbox Live is having connection issues at present, and Microsoft has confirmed users may experience difficulties with connectivity. It said it is aware of an issue with signing in and connecting to XBL and are “hard at work to get you back online as soon as possible.” Currently the Xbox Live status page lists a Service Alert but with no details.

Users are reporting issues with starting games, Signing in, Buying content and issues with some apps.

Its better than sony's down for a while due to hackers

That's in the past. Let it go man. At least users were reimbursed on PS for their time down. Xbox, being that we pay money for their service, shouldn't have these kinds of problems with people not being able to use the service they pay for in addition to not getting reimbursed for their money being spent.
Oh wow, you were off of Xbox Live for a little while so you want something from microsoft. They have millions of users going online all at once and they only have 1,500 servers. They said they're working on the issue what more do you want from them?

1,500? What? Try 15,000. They also said for Xbox One, they were going to use 300,000. I have not experienced one person to have this issue, and I didn't even know about an issue until coming here.
