Sony's policy on Media Content "You buy it, you own it."

4.5
When Sony announced the PS4 in Febuary, people thought they were very reluctant to give any details about the product. Many thought Sony were going to be changing a lot, but they are not. They have changed a bit, but in a good way for the community. Andrew House stated that if you bought the game, you should have the freedom to do what you want with it.

They have basically stated that there are not going to be any restrictions what so ever when it comes to your games, and what you do with them.

Zero_Point_Five No restrictions? this most likely in turn means no punishments...so they are effectively encouraging modding? nice move sony

I seriously have no clue how the **** you got that out of that. Maybe you should open up your close minded ass.

I never lend games to my friends so the restrictions on the Xbox One with used games wasn't a big problem for me. I know a lot of people will be moving to the PS4 for many reasons and this is more and likely one of the main reasons.

When the say restrictions they mean to sell it, trade it, let a friend borrow it, etc. No modding all of their games.

I agree microsoft are trying to take a step forward into the digital world but I think they have gone too far, that's why I am going to buy a PS4.

Honestly Microsoft is just trying to move us to the digital world which is a good thing.

I see no problems with the little restrictions. I never give my games to friends anyways, so I don't see the problem.
