Rumor: Real image of PS4 leaked before official reveal?

4.3
If you somehow did not know, or if you've been living under a rock, tonight is the night many people expect Sony to reveal their highly anticipated console, the PlayStation 4.

But just a few hours before this event, it looks as though an image of the console and the controller has been leaked online. Now, we have seen this controller a few times in the past couple of weeks, but we have not actually seen it turned on, showing off it's user interface.

From what we can see from the controller, there is a total of 6 things to choose from - Your images, videos, and your music being on the top side of the controller.
On the bottom of the miniature screen we can see another 3 icons - A controller, (most likely used for syncing the controller to the PlayStation) a globe icon which will more than likely allow the user to go on the internet, and there is also another icon, which we can't make out.
The 'Start' and 'Select' buttons appear to be beside the touchscreen, also.

And on to the supposed image of the console - Please take the following with a grain of salt, we do not know if this is real, and it very well may be.

Okay, from what we can see, the console has your standard USB 3.0 drives, along with 2 touch buttons - the power and the eject button.
And now for the disk drive... wait a minute... there isn't a disk drive... what? Yes, it looks as though all the user will need to do is just slide the disk in to the console, and hit the eject button for the disk to just pop out again - We are not sure how this will work in regards to disk protection, but it will probably be fine.

There is also a nice neon-blue 'PS4' digital message at the bottom of the console, which also has 2 more icons underneath it. At the moment we have absolutely no idea what these icons may mean... weather it just notifies you if a wireless controller has been synced or if a wired controller has been connected, it is unknown.

We will not know if this is actually real until tonight, where it is expected that Sony will unveil their console.
Luckily for you, we are livestreaming this event on the homepage of The Tech Game - the livestream will start at 11PM GMT / 6PM ET - For access to the livestream, just go to the orange announcement box, and click the "Countdown to PlayStation 4 - Live Stream" text.

Stay informed, as tonight there will be plenty of PlayStation news coming your way!

ackleyj Why so many comments about the size or look of these systems?

Do any of you people realize the hardware they're putting into these newer consoles? They're starting to compete with gaming PC's with what's inside. How small do you expect these units to be in all fairness of components and cooling?

You guys are out of your minds if its size and appearance matter. Look at the average size of your PC tower and how much cooling there is with that.

It's not like many of you will be buying it with your hard earned money. Most likely you'll be asking mommy or daddy to buy it for you irregardless of what its final appearance is.

Competing with gaming PC's is a bad idea, they are never ever going to be better than a gaming pc for many reasons.

Just to advise you: most people dont use irregardless so its probably best to use a simpler word
