New Call of Duty confirmed for Q4 2013, 'will raise the bar even higher.'

4.3
Surprise, surprise, Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a new Call of Duty game in Q4 2013 (October - December)

"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," said CFO Dennis Durkin during a financials conference call on Thursday.

He also added: "There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012"

Many expect that the next Call of Duty is going to be another from the Modern Warfare set of games.

It might be a good thing that Treyarch is getting a 2 year start on the next and not like IW and only putting about 6 months into a game.

Botch Man, Call of Duty is getting so old. Modding is the only fun thing to do on there anymore, in my opinion.

I agree it's just getting boring now.

Hopefully it's better than MW4

Let's see if it's another bad COD, or if they actually thought.

UNSC This one is more of a maybe/maybe not kind of release. The game probably won't be very different from Black Ops II, just a new zombies map, with some shiny new weapons. A release cycle of every two years would really help the CoD franchise get out of its' "Boredom" cycle. This upcoming release probably won't sell very well either considering that it will be a next gen release, and not everyone can buy a 450$ console then go out and buy an entire new set of games. So idk on this one. I really enjoyed Mw3, and Black Ops II was a bad idea in the first place imo. So hopefully they give us a reason to go out and spend all that money just to play a new CoD title.

Yep, people are going to buy a console without any games, makes sense.

I'm starting to only like Call Of Duty for the campaign. The multiplayer isn't fun anymore.

Ripe I hope they make a new CoD game, not Modern Warfare 4 or Black Ops 3. Not very likely, though.

lol not going to happen they will add a few weapons and maps, with another shitty campaign and call it a new game, that's all they ever do. i have no idea why so many people enjoy the same **** over and over.

TTG is full of bigots.
