Next Xbox One Backwards-Compatible Game Arrives

4.6
The Xbox One's backwards compatibility catalog added one new game today. As announced by Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb, today's new addition is Word Puzzle, which originally came out in 2007.

Backward compatible games are a great way to get "new" games on the cheap, but if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, don't forget about this month's Games with Gold, which gives away four free (two Xbox One and two backward compatible Xbox 360) games. You just have to claim them in time.

Since backwards compatibility launched, the response has been "overwhelming," Microsoft recently said. Users have collectively spent 145 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.

The addition of Word Puzzle today comes after Microsoft added eight titles to the program earlier this month, including Bayonetta, de Blob 2, and Bejeweled 3.

Never heard of these games before, it's nice to hear that Xbox are adding older games for the Xbox generation BUT people don't like it for some odd reason.

Honestly only other game i want is BO2, 360 is too slow to run it on anymore. Even though its an emulator on xbox one it works better

I'm not going to be upset for Microsoft releasing all these games no one's heard about, but if you really want to make some money, please release good games.
